Adopting a new dog into your home doesn’t have to be stressful. We can provide you with techniques for successful potty and crate training, as well as dealing with biting and chewing.

Online Obedience Training
Virtual obedience training is a convenient way to get professional help with behavioral problems your dog may have developed in and around your home. If you live out of town, your schedule doesn’t allow time or you are physically unable to attend classes to do in person training, on line training is a convenient option. Virtual training takes place via Zoom so you will be able to use your laptop or phone to show the instructor your dog’s living environment and typical behavior patterns. Sessions are one hour and can be scheduled morning or afternoon with weekend and evening (add $15) appointments available. You don’t have to tolerate unacceptable or destructive behavior. Dogs can be encouraged to strive to please and taught to make positive behavior choices through a consistent system of reward, praise and effective, humane corrections.
New Puppy or Dog Orientation
Introducing a new puppy or dog to your home can be stressful. Why wait until problems develop? Get your dog off to the right start by setting up his/her living environment for successful potty training and development of desirable, positive behavior. We recommend doing two “New Puppy/Dog Orientation” sessions, two weeks apart. It is best to schedule your first session for the week you will be introducing your new family member to your home and a follow up session two weeks later. This will give your dog time to adjust to his or her new surroundings. We can trouble shoot what is working well and what behavioral issues that we can instruct you, on how to work with your dog to improve.
The online “Puppy Orientation” training with Debra was an invaluable experience with my new 10 week old puppy June Bug. She was able to give me so many helpful techniques that worked! We interacted virtually, so Debra could actually see the behaviors that needed correcting.
