I am so glad I found High Tail Dog Training. Baylie is amazing. Buddy was crazy, uncontrollable and was starting to get aggressive. After just 2 sessions I could see improvement. We did 10 sessions and he has really come a long way. He’s not aggressive, listens so much better, is under control, sits, heels and doesn’t jump up. I’m so happy with his improvement and everything that Baylie has taught us. I know now Buddy will be a great dog!

Debra is amazing and overall a great trainer! My dog learned to sit, heal with a leash properly, and be around other dogs so calmly in just a couple of classes because of her teaching techniques. I would highly recommend High Tail Training! 🙂 I’m even taking my dog to round 2 of obedience training class.

I can’t say how grateful I am for Debra as it is beyond words. We adopted a 5 month old puppy that was found as a stray and has undiagnosed medical issues. She barked uncontrollably at other people and dogs that were not a part of her household. Debra took her on without hesitation and not only trained the dog but me too. We can now go to the park, walk around the neighborhood and have other doggie friends. She is a completely different dog thanks to Debra.

Debra at High Tail dog training was amazing. From the first lesson Zulu was showing improvement and wasn’t pulling on the leash. He responded so well to Debra. I am now able to walk around others and he behaves and doesn’t jump on every one.
I had done other training but Zulu only behaved at the training session. Debra came to our street which is full of cats and squirrels and he learned to behave every where. I highly recommend Debra and High Tail.

Debra was a godsend! My Rottweiler puppy started to react badly towards people screaming as though she was being hurt. With Debra’s knowledge and patience, Lilah learned that people aren’t going to hurt her, now allowing strangers to pet her without fear! Her knowledge of the basic obedience commands is much improved. I’d highly recommend High Tail Dog training for any breed of dog.

Lacy is a high energy Border Collie mix that wouldn’t listen to me, barked whenever left alone and was generally an annoyance. Baylie was able to work with me and my dog to correct the specific problems we were having. She is no longer barking and scratching at the back door when outside, sits when people come over and doesn’t bolt out the front door when I open it.
Baylie, taught me how to be firm and consistent without getting angry. My dog and I are much happier after doing the five private obedience lessons.

My dog was extremely defiant and would lose his mind whenever anyone / anything new was introduced. I paid for 5 classes with High Tail Dog Training and I cannot stress enough how much progress was made in those 5 sessions. Not only did she teach my dog obedience, but taught me how to stay consistent with it and continue to train him on my own. Debra was very friendly and patient with both me and my dog, she made great recommendations for products to reinforce corrections, and was fun and pleasant to be around.
I’m now able to take my dog for walks without a leash, go hiking with him, bring him out in public, and actually enjoy spending time with him. As a college Student the lessons seemed like a lot of money, but it was totally worth it. I highly recommend High Tail Dog Training.

Working with Debra, the results were transformational. She had him heeling, sitting, walking quietly, coming when called and tolerating various encounters with people within 3 sessions. We continued weekly in different settings, and she had him lying down on a public patio while we had coffee, coming into stores and public places, and visiting with neighbors. The neighbors say he’s a different dog. Oliver looks forward to his time with Debra, and she takes him to a local park where he chases a Frisbee, plays with children and comes when he’s called. I am thrilled to have a dog I can truly enjoy all the time. He responds as well to me as he does to her. Thank you, Debra!

We recently rescued a stray pup and our 8 year old daughter who is very shy had an immediate bond with her. We decided to look into something they could do together and that’s when we found Debra. Debra took on our challenge of a very shy kid and a stray dog and did amazing with them. Our daughter got a “huge boost” of confidence learning how to train our dog and Ginger learned all the basics.
